I’ve been here a total of three times. My first acrylic set was perfect along with my first gel pedicure. As far as my recent visit for another full set the lady was rushing me to pick a color while putting on my tips on so I had no free hands to chose which one I wanted. Before painting my nails she never told me to wash my hands which I had powder and dust all over my hands, and proceeded to paint them until I stopped her to tell her that I am going to wash my hands first. I also had to tell her to paint my nails again because she missed the sides that were clearly bare. Lastly, she had to redo my jewels on one finger twice and it came out very messy, and my acrylic is flat and lumpy. I love the vibe, drinks, and quickness for a chair! However, I believe there needs to be a conversation had with some of the techs about efficiency and effectiveness. Love this place but very disappointed with this service and wanted to provide feedback so there won’t be any more bad reviews from others!

Vivian is my new nail tech in town. I have been living here for about 9 years now and it was so hard finding someone to do my nails, I found one after trying so many nails techs but she was so far away from my area (30 mins away), but now I was looking online and saw a lot of great reviews about Vivian and decided to give her a try, plus the shop is only 5 mins away from my house. This was my second time going to Vivian and let me tell you all the reviews were right about her. She is really the best, super fast and does such a great beautiful job, she’s very throughout and detailed, and trust me when I say I’m very picky with my nails and the service, but FORREAL Vivian is so sweet and an amazing nail tech. She knows what she is doing, and she seems to love it. And that’s exactly what you want in a nail technician. And Ben he did my pedicure, very well he asks if you need anything else I or if you are okay, very good customer service and did an amazing job with my pedicure.

Ava Nail Spa was extremely packed during my visit, but the customer service was good and the staff were friendly. I had a 15-minute wait, which wasn’t too bad, and my toes looked great initially. Unfortunately, the polish started peeling just three days later, which was disappointing. With that experience, I won’t be coming back.

So this was the worst experience getting my nails done ever and it did not end when I left. The 1st issue is the technician spilled a WHOLE BOWL of acetone on my shirt and skirt. When he did it there was no apologies and he just handed me a towel. The acetone ruined my brand new Columbia PFG shirt and skirt . I went home and immediately put these in the washer but it stained my white shirt almost a dark grey/brown color. This was a very expensive shirt ($75) and skirt was a $40 skirt. They acted as if it was no big deal….. YOU JUST RUINED $115 outfit!! Brand new shirt I had worn twice 😢. Then it did not end there, 2 days later because my nails I asked to be squared (short/natural look) the edges were left so sharp and each a different length and a bit of history…I have had dip done for 2yrs and have NEVER had my nails chip or break, within 2 days 3 were already broken at the tops where they were left so sharp. So because we live 30 minutes away from the salon I went to a close to home salon and had them just take them off they were such a mess, so now paying someone else to fix Ava Salons mess! Another $40 plus $10 tip so $50, plus the money I paid just 5 days prior (Done on Sunday, 3 broke by Wednesday and taken off Friday so 5 days) which I paid $ $60 total for my nails/tip at Ava. This is all a mess, I have paid a lot of money on fixing their work and loss of my clothes all total $165!!! I feel this salon should at least refund my money for my nails and pay to replace my shirt he ruined when he dumped a bowl of acetone on it!

I am disappointed from the service. Although staff is polite but the service they provide is not up to the mark. 1) They treated my nails so rough like they are working on a piece of wood. 2) They didn’t provide the proper finishing to my nails. 3) I even got injured during the service and on top of my injury they applied acetone which burned like hell! Which they didn’t even apologise. 4) They charged me $55 which is not at all worth I regret coming here and won’t be going back to Ava nails.
