I’ve taken my BMW, Audi and Company Van to Best Auto Repair. Although it has always been basic service, these folks have always done a great job and been able to fit me in without an appointment. They are always friendly, fair and reliable.

I went to the mechanic shop to fix a problem with my car's air conditioning! When I got to the gate, an employee yelled at me, asking me to remove my car. I quickly moved my car back and freed the entrance gate! When I entered the shop to tell him what was happening to my car, the middle-aged employee, between 35 and 40 years old, refused to talk to me and didn't even respond to the "good afternoon" I said to him! I felt very upset about this! There was a girl waiting for her car to be delivered. She had been at the gate for about 40 minutes, waiting for her car. She had been in the hot sun all that time. It was very hot that day! The shop employees didn't even ask her if she wanted water or a cool place to wait for the work on her vehicle to be completed! I heard that the owner of the shop is a good person, but the employees are not trustworthy!

I had an appointment to get my AC diagnosed for "$45-$75". They said their mechanic didn't show up so I'd have to wait. They also said the diagnostic could cost $125 after they told me $45-$75. I own an HVAC business and know that's not how you charge for a diagnosis. After I asked for my keys back I called my sister from my van to share my experience. The owner approached me and said he didn't have time to look at my van. I informed him I already refused to let him. I chose this place because of good reviews and didn't even have a chance to have my van checked. Steer clear. Terrible.

Best mechanic shop in Matthews, their work is second to none and their prices are fair across the board. I take my business and personal vehicles here anytime something comes up. Their turn around time for repairs is fantastic!!!

A bit of a hike from Steele Creek, but our drive was rewarded with a great staff and excellent service at a 60% cost savings on repairs, compared to the dealership quote.
