My mom and I came across this boutique after having lunch. At first we thought it was super cute, the prices were reasonable and the clothes had a southern, Charleston vibe. My mom tried on a pair of shorts and I was trying to convince her to buy them, so she asked the sales associate if she had any tops she recommended to go with the shorts. The sales associate was an older lady and told my mom the tops for "their age group were in the back". She proceeded to take her to a single row of button down shirts... My mom did not think that comment was necessary and I think she could've worn any blouse in the store, fun floral blouses aren't only for girls in their 20s. I ended up convincing her to buy the shorts and I bought a blazer. We later found out the shorts were extremely low quality, she would've been better off getting a pair at Old Navy or Walmart for better quality than these. After one wear there were snags and pulls all over and she didn't even wear jewelry or something that would've been catching on the shorts. Then after one wash on delicate the hem literally unraveled on one of the legs. I told her for $50 she should reach out to the store and show them photos to return for store credit. They literally offered her a $10 gift card and tried to say they couldn't afford to give her any more store credit because they were a small business (they also have numerous locations through NC & SC). My mom and I are both small business owners and thought this was completely unacceptable. She wasn't even asking for a cash refund, she just wanted store credit to try to find something that was better quality... We would have been returning customers if they had handled this situation correctly, even with the rude sales associate. However, since they don't know that it's best to honor a bad product with good customer service they will be getting a bad review rather than returning customers. Don't waste your money here.

I have tried to shop this place multiple times over my last few years in Charlotte to see if they would redeem themselves but honestly they have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. No one speaks, acknowledges you, and certainly do not offer to help. I was in one day and no one spoke to me as I looked around but someone walked in after I did and they were met with smiles and an extremely warm welcome (so it was obvious it can be done when they want to) They do have some cute clothing but I can not support a business that thinks treating people this way is acceptable. I have also felt the older lady mentioned in other reviews is very rude and it seems that is consistent. There has been more than one time over the years I’ve left empty handed even when I have found something I liked because of the service. When I did make a purchase the lady only said “now, if these don’t fit you can’t return them” -I am well aware of what final sale means and would have enjoyed her actually trying to make conversation instead of that being the only interaction we had. I live close by and go to park road shopping center almost daily and I guess that’s why I have wondered in after repeated bad service but I won’t be anymore. These other reviews also reflect this isn’t an isolated incident and I’m very surprised to see how it has continued over time.

It is very disappointing to have to write a bad review about a small business, or not being able to support a small business in Charlotte. Every time I come here the customer service is absolutely terrible! No one ever offers to help despite many available associates in the store. I went in this weekend and had my arm full of dresses and no one offered my a fitting room or anything. The older woman who works there has been rude to me several times before too, and sounds like there are multiple review stating similar experiences. Save your time and go to Vestique/K LA if you want to support Charlotte boutiques.

I got this cup at the holiday fair from
This boutique. This is a fake and I was not
Disclosed to this. I paid $37 with taxes for this and I got scammed. I will be contacting the junior league of Fayetteville to let them know of this. I am very disappointed and upset.
