The Filete De Pollo En Crema De Champiñones was absolutely divine! The creamy mushroom sauce was rich and velvety, with just the right balance of savory and earthy notes that elevated the dish to another level. The presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was generous. Five stars all the way!

After experiencing the Van Gogh Immersion show we searched for a Colombian restaurant and found this gem. Located in a strip mall it is not much to see from the outside. The decor inside is all Colombian inspired with a lot of pictures of their beautiful country. The menu has every dish that they are known for so my excitement from the star was enormous. We ordered some empanadas to start because it’s traditional, perfect meat and seasoning with the outer corn cover that adds to the taste. We also tried Chicharrón (pork rind) also a staple for them with some fried yuca(cassava). I got the Bistek a Carballo which is a thin steak in a delicate tomato and onion combination on top with white rice, beans, potatoes and two fried eggs on top. Break the yolk on top of the rice and enjoy. My daughter got the same and my son got the Bandeja Paisa. This is the most famous and traditional dish they are known for. It will satisfy any appetite. Steak, sausage, pork rind, rice, beans, yuca, avocado and an egg. Need I say more? These dishes do not disappoint and you will need a take home box. Splurge and get a tropical fruit shake made with Milk(or water) your choice. I like Mango or Maracuya. I will travel from Winston to this place regularly now. If you live out their you are lucky if you don’t then “Road Trip”! I will be happy to join anyone if you pay for my meal….lol
Update: After the Knicks vs Hornets game we decided to go to this Colombian Restaurant that we had previously been to and had been satisfied. Located in a large strip mall with ample private parking. You walk in to a festive atmosphere with Latin music playing. We were seated immediately and they accommodated our party of 11…..my Birthday crew! The waitresses were again on point and very attentive. The go to is always the “Bandeja Paisa”, which is the Colombian typical country dish. It comes with steak, pork rind, sausage, fried egg, plantain, rice, beans and a tortilla. If this does not fill you I don’t know what will. My wife always gets it and takes half home. I changed it up and got a skirt steak….”Entraña”. This is by far the best cut of meat, thin, tender and juicy. It also comes with fried plantains, rice and beans on a separate plate!!! They have a thicker steak that is also great, called “Bistec a Caballo”. Or they have. Creole style with tomatoes and onions. All these options are amazing. We were not satisfied with the beef empanadas this time as they seemed old and reheated. Everything else was amazing just like the first time. I wish we had a restaurant like this in the triad, until then, we will travel.

I'm thrilled to have discovered another Colombian food gem! This vibrant restaurant embodies the spirit of Colombian culture, with a family-friendly ambiance that's as colorful as it is authentic.
The service was attentive, albeit a bit hectic at times, but the staff's warm hospitality made up for it. The pastries, empanadas, and almojabanas were all delicious.
The main courses truly shone, with generous portions of tender meat that tasted remarkably homemade. However, there was one disappointment: the tamal. While seasoned, it completely lacked the authentic flavor and traditional ingredients of a genuine Colombian tamal.
Overall, I'm excited to have found this hidden gem and look forward to returning. With an adjustment of tweaking to their tamal recipe, this place will be cool!

All I can say is that this food is so delicious that I want every bite. I’m glad that I broadened my palate ages ago to accept different flavors. This meal is so great and the food is plentiful. That plus great taste makes this spot a winner. Thank you.

The food came out fast. Service was ok. Unfortunately, my husband found a piece of plastic in his pollo apanado. The manager kind of apologized but could have done a better job or offered to bring a new plate.
Although we understand things like this can happen it does not make it right. I had the cazuela of mariscos , the flavor was good but it was very watery. Hopefully they read this review and do better next time.
