I haven’t had a poor experience here until today. I made an appointment a few days prior for Saturday at 11:30 with a specific person. I walked in at 11:28-11:30. I waited until someone, who was not the person I requested, came to help me. The red you see around my pinky nail is not red polish - it’s my blood. The rest speaks for itself :/ She gave me a nail file for later to get rid of the red dip powder all over my skin. I had to fix these when I got home. I was there from 11:30 until 1pm for this.

I have been looking for a local place to get my dip manicures and Q Nails has been absolutely amazing every time! Mai does an amazing job with my manicure and I have never had a bad pedicure from anyone. Also love that I can make my appointment online.

Today I visited Q Nails hoping to get the trending “glass nails” style, which involves a white cat-eye gel over neutral nails. When I arrived, I specifically asked if they could provide this look (even providing photos) and was assured they could. However, at the final step of the process when they brought out their cat eye colors, I discovered they only had a brown-toned cat-eye gel available. This caused my neutral pink nails to appear dingy and dirty—completely different from the look I wanted and was told they could do.
By this point, I had already been at the salon for over an hour. However, instead of offering to redo my nails, the only solution presented was adding a chrome effect on top. While the finished nails aren’t terrible, they are not what I requested or was promised.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that as a first time customer I walked out paying full price for nails I did not want, and the salon was fully aware of this but did nothing to compensate for it—not even offering a discount or another appointment. For a business that was highly recommended by my friends, this level of customer service was extremely underwhelming.
I hope they improve their communication about what they can deliver and make more effort to resolve issues when customers are unhappy. This experience has made it so that I have no desire to return.

Truly disappointed in Q nails. I went there less than 2 weeks ago for a fill in and fresh color acrylic nails. Normally a set lasts me 3-4 weeks. Within 9 days of my set, two nails had broken off completely, not to mention the paint is all chipped. I finally went back today after wearing broken nails all week. They repaired my two nails. The repair was half way done, with an attitude. For starters, why would you lay fresh acrylic on old broken acrylic?! Take the time to take it off. I shouldn't have to tell you to do that. But I did, and I had to correct her several times on the appearance of the nails she was repairing. She then proceeded to act frustrated and speak in the other language. Will not return. When you pay a price for something you want it done right, with quality, and with respect. This was a trash experience.
