Nice diner with a very friendly staff. It is clean. The food portions are very generous but the prices reflect that. It is still very reasonably priced. The bacon was delicious as were the home fries. The eggs were cooked to perfection. My only criticism is that the pancakes were somewhat dry. I usually eat pancakes with just butter but I had to put syrup on them to get them down. They do come with powdered sugar already applied. If you do not like this like I do ask for them to hold it up front. Overall a good experience. I will definitely go back and try some other menu options.

Down to earth family restaurant. Clean and friendly. Great prices, huge portions. I drove 40 min from Charlotte to eat their Chilaquiles and they tasted just like the ones I ate in Mexico! I lived there for over 30 years and I sure know how they should taste. Kudos Sunshine! I will be back! 😁

Typically, I am very understanding of customer service factors. Especially, during the holidays. However, my husband and I went to this establishment on today for breakfast. They were busy and we waited to be seated (which is fine). We were seated about 15-20 minutes after we arrived. Our waitress (Jenny) came to our table about 5-7 minutes after we were seated. She took our drink and food order. This would be the last time we saw her. After 35-45 minutes, we had not received our food. Other customers that came in after us had received their food and some had eaten and left. I inquired at the register concerning our food because the waitress was MIA (missing in action). After I asked about our food, the food was brought to our table...... COLD!!! I immediately asked for the manager. I Informed them that the server had not been to our table but one time and why was our food cold. Really no logical explanation. I informed them that I was very unhappy with the service and would let others know of my experience. We left without eating. The waitress returned to the table and just seemed as if she didn't care. Very poor customer service. She does not need to be in the service business.

1st time at this restaurant.....it was recommended by my son.....we both like chicken fried steak so that's what I got....it was very good and flavorful crispy outside tender inside....the sawmill gravy was a little watery and not a lot of flavor....the mashed potatoes and gravy was good the fired okra was awesome...my family kept grabbing a piece of okra I had to order another dish of it.....the Mac and Cheese was not too good as my son had said but I had to try it....it was not cheesy or flavorful I got some extra american Cheese put on it and added salt and pepper to it it was a little better but not much.....the sweet tea which I love was on point.....overall a good dining experience I will definitely go back and try other items.....the staff were very friendly and our waitress was real welcoming 😊

This was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back! Everyone was so nice and our server was awesome. The prices were good and they give you so much food. I had the steak fajita sub and breakfast potatoes. I could only eat half of my sub it was so big. The potatoes were really good too. My friend had french toast and said it was delicious.
