This restaurant was a short drive from our hotel and had good reviews, so we were excited to try it out. They gave our table chips and salsa to start with, and the chips were nice and warm. We were given a mild salsa, so my mom asked for the hotter one. For my meal, I got the quesadillas, which were two quesadillas with cheddar cheese and chicken. It came with lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. It also is supposed to come with tomatoes and onions, but I asked for it without them. The presentation was lovely and the quesadilla was really tasty and savory. The service was also really good! The people working were super nice and welcoming. We also mentioned we were in town for my sister's birthday, so they sang for her which was super nice.

After visiting so many Mexican restaurants across the US, I realized all the menus and dishes revolve around the same few options, so at the end of the day it comes down to how they execute these dishes, their pricing, and lastly the atmosphere and quality of service.
Pricing was reasonable, service was good, but the atmosphere wasn’t great. We were a party of six and they sent us downstairs which had the basement feeling although they had empty tables upstairs and we asked them to sit upstairs.
Besides that no complains. Decent experience overall

Love this place. We set outside right by the lake. The food was great. Chips were offered with 2 different sauces. One was very spicy, but I loved it. Selection of tap beers is not the greatest, but you will get your basics. This was our second time here and will be back again. Saturday evening is very busy if the weather is nice so be prepared to wait.

The atmosphere is great, the restaurant sits off a lake which is pretty. The food was okay, the salsa was very chunky and the birra taco didn't have much flavor in it. The margarita didn't seem to have much alcohol in it.

Excellent food at a good price and if you come right after the lunch rush you get lots of attention.
Despite the late lunch, all of the chips were very fresh with a fresh salsa that still had a little crunch to the onions. The jalapeno salsa is a little on the spicy side for those that don't go that route. The regular salsa did not have much spiciness, so should be good for most tastes.
The Fajita Bowl looked a lot better before I dug in, sorry. Was really hungry and forgot to get this pic at the beginning. The rice, beans, and all other components are not layered, but massed around. You have to stir it up a little if you want a good combination of flavors. The sautéed, whole, mushrooms made for a great addition in place of traditional proteins. For a lunch portion, this was quite generous.
The "fried" ice cream is not fried, but was freshly rolled in sweetened corn flakes so had a nice crispiness. The cinnamon and sugar on the tortilla bowl was perfect and also freshly fried.
