My experience at Apple Nail Spa on 3429 Toringdon Way #108 was devastating. On Thursday, October 17th my daughter, being the sweetheart she is, took me to get my toes done on our monthly mother/daughter day. I thought I was going to be ready with fresh toes for my Saturday event, but not even an hour into the event, the polish started peeling off. Yes, peeling! Now, I don’t know what kind of nail polish they used, but Saturday was a sunny day—not scorching, not even remotely hellfire hot—for polish to be melting off like it couldn’t take the heat!
I was so embarrassed, all I wanted to do was make it back to the car. First of all, my daughter’s $50—wasted. Gone, just like that. Second, let’s be clear: the nail technician owes my daughter a refund and me an apology, point blank, period. I absolutely unequivocally don’t want to come in for a re-do. In fact, I don’t want to set foot in another nail salon as long as I’m breathing! From now on, I’m ordering my supplies from Amazon and doing my own nails. And guess what? I could’ve done a better job with my eyes closed. I had to take that polish off, and you know what? I did do a better job—not with my eyes closed though, but almost! LOL. Whew, chile, I am too through with nail salons.
I know my toes look a hot mess, but I just had to show everyone how terrible they looked after only two days of getting them done. Look at this mess! The nail technician didn’t even file the nail bed properly—that’s why the polish peeled off like old wallpaper. While I was sitting there, I even asked her to trim some of my toenails because they were getting long and curling, as you can see in the picture. She acted hesitant, like trimming a toenail was the world’s hardest task. She barely filed them down. At that point, I was like, Oh, she’s got issues, and let it go. But when the polish peeled two days later? I was like, Nah, to the naa naa—this is beyond unacceptable, and that’s why I had to do this review.
I know it’s hard to believe, and I hate to expose the public to this mess, but here’s the receipt and the picture of my toes as proof. See for yourself, and pleeeeease proceed with caution when going to this salon.

Terrific place - VERY clean! I have been coming to Apple Nails for years for my gel manicures and pedicures and have never been happier. Great and consistent service with attention to detail.

Drove about an hour to try this nail salon because I had clients tell me that they did good. I was so rushed, felt like I was bothering them anytime I answered a question, and the prices are outrages for the quality. Wish I would have saved my time and money. The lady who did my pedicure seemed like she hated her job and like I was a huge inconvenience.. I don’t even think she filed my toenails. They are jagged and uneven. I even asked if she could shape them more like my natural shape but she barely let me get a word out and made me feel crazy for asking for a natural shape. Gel polish on toes is uneven in spots. Very disappointing. Also don’t offer a “classic” pedicure if you just get annoyed and don’t do a quality job when someone chooses that as an option. Not everyone needs a 100$ pedicure. The lady who did my nails was alot better but I still feel like the quality definitely does not match the price. I hate leaving bad reviews and I really wasn’t going to but I’m still upset about how much I spent and what my nails and toes look like.

Brought my 5yr old daughter for Mommy daughter date. I've been to this salon before awhile back and was impressed on the last visit. This visit they were great with my daughter but so rude with me. There were two brochures on the table area at the spa chair for the pedicures and some wax treatment. When I was asking the lady(who was very sweet) doing my pedicure what the wax service was a tech from across the room yelled to me that "the descriptions of the services is fully listed" well it was for the pedicures but not the wax thing. That only lists the benefits of the service. But after that outburst, I wasn't about to yell and to argue that well no it doesn't while sitting with my 5 yr old so I obviously passed on that service. Things like this kept happening, other techs making choices from across the room then talking to you as if expecting an argument or not acknowledging you at all while deciding what is happening during the service. Not sure if they just had a lot of rude people in for the holidays but at the end of the day that isn't on me. I very clearly wanted a gel full set, when I asked why the tech was pulling out acrylic I was told that was the only way to add length. It's not. Just saying, if you can't offer a service don't advertise it. Acrylic with gel polish isn't a gel set. I'm sure most women know the feeling of when you're getting your nails done and you aren't happy with the entire experience so you're just ready to go, well that was the feeling I had leaving there. The techs were rude, my nails look nothing like I wanted and weren't even the type of nails I asked for. I'll never go back. If you're looking for a relaxing experience I suggest you find another nail spot / spa. oh and after leaving review on facebook instead of reaching out to apologize or offer anything for the experience they blocked me.

The pricing is a lot for very mediocre work. You feel a bit rushed, even as a new customer. I am pretty sure that there are other salons that sell more and higher quality for less. I spent $80+ dollars on something that I could have just done myself. I was not really impressed with what the cost got me. I am glad that I did not spend more.
